local trips within 3 hours-where can we go?
we are looking to drive within 3 hours of LI. can be a little further or closer.
Can't do mystic every hotel is booked there is a concert at mohegan sun and it seems everyone booked mystic hotels
Anythig else that's not that far?
trying to plan a last minute trip for our anniversary.
I'm looking for a place with things to do, and if you know a good hotel too
NYC is an option, but not our first pick. we go in and stay there a lot

Go to a B&B in the North Fork and Vineyards
New Hope, Pa.- great B&B's- cute funky little town
Mohonk House in New Paltz
Poconos- Either Sky Top or Mt Airy Lodge

We're going away this weekend for our anniversary- one night at The Water Club at Borgata and then one night in Philly. Though there seems to be more then enough to do in Philly to just spend an entire weekend there.

If you are looking for a city, there's always Baltimore. It's great this time of year.. tons of restaurants/bars, it's a great walking city for the crisp fall.
(I live there, so I'm a little biased  )
