Stim Question
How long were you ladies on your stim meds before HCG? I know they say an average of 10 days, but I'd like some real life #s to go by...lol TIA!

It really all depends on the individual and I think the cycle....
My first IVF cycle I stimmed for I think 13 or 14 days before triggering.
My 2nd IVF cycle, I triggered on teh 9th day.

I stimmed from the 18th through the 26th and did the trigger on the 27th.

First cycle: stimmed 4 days, coasted for 4 days... not ideal!
Second cycle: had a cycle where I stimmed (follistim) and suppressed (ganirelix) at the same time for a total of 11 days, adding Menapur for the final 4 days.
Every cycle is different and depending on your situation, the RE can make all sorts of adjustments to the stim part. Good luck!!!
