Good luck! I go to Dr. Brenner. I have found the nurses to be great and the office staff to be very helpful. I hope the testing goes smoothly and that your time on this board goes quickly!

It seems like a lot at first but once the testing is all done you'll get into a routine. Everyone there is super nice and I love the staff as well. Best of luck to you!

Re: New Li/IVF
Hi Again, Well I am going back in tomorrow to discuss the " next step" we got DH's results today and it seems his sperm count is low not motility but his numbers were something like 12 million. It was all so fast on the phone. I always suspected we would start IUI but now I am not even sure what we do? I am waiting for DH to come home to discuss. Dr. is doing an ultrasound tomorrow which will be day 12 to see where we are.. just needed to vent and get some advice? THANKS

Re: New Li/IVF
Don't stress yet. My DH's #'s were low the 1st time he tested. After they tested again, his #'s were better. Lots of things can effect the test (stress, sleep, what he ate, etc).
If his count IS low, she still may start w/ an IUI. It's a quick and pretty painless procedure (I was shocked at how simple it was the 1st time I had it done). Dr. K. will go over all of your options with you.
Hope it goes well!

Re: New Li/IVF
I agree with everything Jen said. The same thing happened to me...I was shocked when the RE called me to tell me DH's count was low (9 million per cc). I always thought I was the problem!
She will most likely have you do an IUI this month. Hopefully you won't have to do anymore but if you do it will be much easier since you'll know the routine.
We are here if you have any more questions!

Re: New Li/IVF
Where did DH produce? My DH has normal counts at home but very low when its done in the office. There are also many factors involved. He should probably go for a second SA. GL!!!!!
