driveways
Anyone know the cost to widden a drive for two cars with black top...
We want to do this and I would LOVE to - just I need to get an idea of the cost...
Also,
Are there permits I need to do this????

We have a concrete driveway, and have been pricing out blacktop.
To rip out the concrete and put in an asphalt driveway with a belgium block border is about $3k. Oh, its about 700 sq ft, 2 cars wide, 2 cars long.

You probably need a permit to widen the driveway apron (the part that dips into the street).

We are getting this done. It is only a single driveway, asphalt and pavers up the sides, $1,200.
