We leave for CA in less than a WEEK!
And boy is this vacation packed with activities. My DH got a little excited and booked a bunch of stuff.
We'll be doing the San Diego Zoo/Balboa Park/Old Town Trolley Tour over a 2.5 day period.
Next, we head to LA/Venice Beach. We'll be visiting Santa Monica Pier, Venice Boardwalk, Universal Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Blvd....and he won the lottery to receive tickets to see the Jay Leno Show, Conan O'Brien Show and he bought Pearl Jam tickets for one of the nights they are in town performing.
Then, we head to Ontario for the NASCAR race for the entire week and we finish back in San Diego.
WOW! I'm going to need a vacation from my vacation!

have an awesome time!! we were just out in CA in august- drove from SAn FRancisco to San diego... you will LOVE the San Diego zoo- so nice!! if you have time in San Diego, you should go to Torrey Pines state preserve- pretty easy hikes with awesome views of the ocean and cliffs! LA had too much traffic for me LOL but it was still cool to see.
