if you have used fondant, what kind of cake did you use? yellow, or pound cake? thanks!

You can use fondant to cover any kid of cake you want.

You can cover any cake that you want.
Although I suggest an icing underneath. I usually make my cake, cover with a buttercream icing and then put my fondant on.
