To all my fellow Cow Harbor runners!
Good luck tomorrow morning! I am so excited :)
I am so torn. To run with my ipod or not? I usually do run with it, but ran all the training runs without it. Also, I don't want to miss the crowd cheering.

I'd recommend running with it---you could always turn it off.

I am so excited!
I plan to run with my iPod, but I usually keep it on a lower volume anyway - so I can hear if cars are coming when I run through my neighborhood - and then crank it up when I need extra motivation on a hill or something. I figure I will do something similar tomorrow (James Street? Haha)!
My latest dilemma is what to wear - it is going to be so cold in the early morning!! I don't want to freeze while standing around waiting to start, but I hate running with a shirt tied around my waist... Any suggestions?

I am just going to freeze. Ha ha! I am wearing my usual tshirt and shorts. Better to be cold in the beginning than hot when running. I cannot stand to run with something around my waist either.
I think there is a place to store backpacks or something like that. So, maybe you can bring your long sleeve shirt and then take it off right before running. You may want to ask Erica, she seems to have run this many times.

I know there is a baggage bus again, I just feel like when I allow myself enough time to drop my clothes off there and get back to the starting position, I will be standing around in the cold for about a half an hour without it anyway!
Maybe I will just freeze as well. Ha!

I actually thought about doing that! Then I also ran out during lunch and bought a long sleeve shirt meant for running/exercise so it will be lighter weight and wick away sweat that I can just wear the whole time.
AND I remembered that friends of ours live practically across from the school so my husband is going to call and see if we can just leave stuff at their house! Haha.

Good luck everyone!
I ran into a student's mom at the registration, so now there is added pressure!
* as for ipod - where it- the course is closed.
* weather - bring a black garbage bag - cut holes on the side near the bottom and wear it to keep warm...then you just toss it to the side. I did that for the half marathon in May. tomorrow DH will be waiting at the start line and I'll just throw him my clothes.
I do know that some people wait at the bus as long as they can and then jump into their wave when it gets to the starting line - I could never time it that perfectly though.
