My antique chandelier-TAKEN!!!! :-)

TAKEN!!!!!!!

I posted a couple of months ago that the previous owners left us a chandelier. Not my style at all. I brought it to an Antique dealer, they said it was Italian, 1930/1940's.

I had a few people ask then about it that maybe they wanted it, but does anyone want it?

DONT give it away. Change out the glass bulbs. But keep it. different glass will give you a complete different look. I like it. I would make it work somehow.

We already put up a chandelier more our style, I'd rather someone else enjoy it.

Re: My antique chandelier

I would do a little research and see if it's valuable.

Then go to an antique dealer.

Are you SURE you don't want it for your new dining room? It would be lovely with the colors you are painting.

I'm contacted several antique dealers, it's worth about $150, but no dealers want it.

Because it would be hard to sell.

When people say antique chandeliers they are thinking stained glass or crystal.

Why don't you try ebay or craiglist (pick up only)?

I tried craigslist, didn't work. This is hard to sell, but I really just want it out of my garage now, it's been decorating it for almost a year now.Chat Icon

I am curious, was it someone from these boards or from Craig's List?
