Dinner Party theme
Hi Ladies,
Each month, girls that I work with have a "Girls Gone Gourmet" night. Each month of the school year, one of us hosts the dinner. the host is responsible for the main entree, but the guests bring the apps., drinks, desserts, etc.
I am hosting for October. I thought a fall theme would be good or a Halloween theme? Could you give me suggestions for those themes for food? (Main dish, apps, desert...whatever comes to mind!) Even though I won't be cooking it all, I do have to "assign" food/drinks to the guests and they bring it. Also, if you have a "theme" or idea that would also work (it doesn't have to be a fall theme) that would be great too.
DH is the cook in our house, so I am a bit nervous cooking for everyone and want it to be good!
TIA!

Re: Dinner Party theme
Each year I do a Pumpkin Carving Party/Soup supper w/ drinks (spiked cider) apps, & 4 different kinds of soup/breads/salad, etc. It is always a big hit! Takes the place of a traditional Halloween Party & everyone gets a Jack o lantern! (It's BYOP...bring your own pumpkin)
