Lupron Treatment update
Well, I finished my 6 month Lupron treatment to get rid of my Endometriosis. I had a follow up ultrasound and found that it didn't work. The Endo is still there. This is one of the strongest treatment there is for Endo and 6 months worth is the most you can really have at one time without it being dangerous to you and I can't believe it didn't work. I am so upset! I have tried every treatment whether it's to remove it or control it and nothing has worked. I don't know what to do. I'm devastated.

Re: Lupron Treatment update
Thanks everyone!
I have had a Lap done right before I got PG with my 2nd son. My OB/GYN doesn't want me to have another one since I want to TTC again at some point, hopefully sooner than later, because it can cause more scar tissue.
I personally am leaning towards another Lap and then TTC, (hopefully) but she's really against it. Maybe when we're ready to TTC, try for a few months and then if it doesn't work, then have another Lap done. I don't know. Since nothing seems to work it's just really upsetting.

Re: Lupron Treatment update
I am so sorry to hear this. 6mths is a long time for any treatment and lupron is not the nicest to our bodies (or mind). I wish I had some great words of wisdom.

Re: Lupron Treatment update
i am currently being treated for two ovarian cysts and i also have endometriosis...the doctor i am seeing wouldnt operate (1) because of the endometrios, (2) because i already had surgery to remove two cysts ten years ago and was worried about the scar tissue and (3) because of my blood pressure...and i know how badly it sucks...i am pretty sure that the doctors cant even tell how bad the endo is without operating...so what are we supposed to do? i am going to be taking my third depolupron shot on monday, and i am lucky because they are working...but im scared of what is to come after that because who knows now how bad the endo is! my husband and i do want to have kids, and im 33 and not getting any younger..we would prefer to have our own children but have agreed that if we have to adopt or use a surrogate we will...but at times i feel so hopeless because its like a no win situation...i totally know how you are feeling! its nice to know that there are people out there suffering like i am! i have not found any forums out there like this one where everyone is local and its nice to be able to discuss this with people who are in the same boat and know how it all FEELS..my husband has been so supportive about the whole thing, but just doesnt totally get it because its not his body...big hugs to you, and we all need to keep sharing because maybe you know something i dont!
