Room Set Up
Those whose family room/den have windows facing the street- how did you set it up?
I used to have this thing about not wanting the sofa back to the window, b/c then peopel can't look outside and also people can look in and see what you're watching on TV. I'm trying to get ideas for room set up.

Re: Room Set Up
I have a split and our bow window goes floor to ceiling. Most of the people in the neighborhood have their sofa or loveseat in front of the window.
i am going to put the sofa on the long wall and the loveseat in front of the railing, opposite the sofa. I want the window clear. If I can find a chaise, i might try to angle a chaise near the window, but not directly blocking it.

Re: Room Set Up
That makes sense. For now our TV is going in there too and its flatscreen - hanging it on the wall, so I'm limited in choices. Have to think this through more.
