How many of you have WAY too many bags and shoes?

I did a yard sale on Labor Day with DH.

I sold over 20 purses and still had plenty left.

I sold about 10 pairs of shoes and STILL had plenty left (I can't fit in any of my 40+ shoes since I had DS).

AND I still kept about 10-15 purses that I had presorted for me to keep.

I stopped buying since I had DS but man it hit me when one girl was holding 5-7 purses in her hand , her mom had several herself and another was looking at them on the table.

I have a crapload of purses I was going to donate in boxes in my basement, but it seems they're back in style now so I may be hanging on to them afterall.


I was printing and attaching photos of my new shoes on their corresponding boxes and my DH told me he was scared because he knows how many are stacked in boxes in the basement.


ETA: BUT my DH is partially to blame! The man just took my measurements so he could have another pair of boots made for me. I, obviously in a state of confusion, suggested that we hold off on the boots because I have enough.

I have many many bags and very pricey ones as well I cant let go of them and shoes a decent amount but not too many!

The whole top shelf of my closet is all hand bags.. and the bottom shelf and floor is all shoes

It's a sickness...I have more of a shoe problem then a bag problem, simply because shoes are cheaper lol. I am running out of room to store them in my closet!

Yup The back wall of my closet is my Carrie Bradshaw shoe wall. I have so many stappy sandals and heals that I just don't wear that much.

I did sell A LOT of bags on Ebay, but still love them and buy them all the time

I have been on a spree for the past 2 months out of joy to NOT be pregnant anymore I keep buying stuff. I even waited to bring some in when DH wasn't around and I never do that.

Yes and NO..more shoes but I do tend to sift and get rid of what I can pre season.

For all the ladies getting rid of BAGS- LET ME KNOW!

My closet is overflowing with bags and my shoes are stored all over the house. I've been trying to hide the shoebox when I buy a new pair but when I wear them my DH goes, "When did you get those?" Busted!

Not shoes, too hard to find shoes that fit.

When we moved, I had to go out and buy bins for my closet for my clutch bags alone! The stand up organizer I had from my last closet broke it was so heavy with the weight of all those bags!

Shoes, I'm bad but I have a really hard time finding a comfortable shoe these days so that's really helped to curb that addiction.

I do. I have to go through my closets and have a big ebay sale. I don't even care how much I get for some of the stuff, I just want it out of my life...but on the other hand...it is too nice to just give away...i want to recoup SOME of the cash I have spent over the years.
