NSAL or Little Shelter?
DH and i will be adopting a dog soon, we had originally planned on going to North Shore (that's where we have always adopted from) but since Little Shelter started coming to Broadway Mall on the weekends i was thinking of checking them out too.
anyone ever had any experience with Little Shelter? i've had both good and bad experiences at North Shore, but mostly good.

I've had not so great experiences at NSAL a few times. Little shelter on the other hand, I had a great experience with them. I only adopted there once but have been back there quite a few times. DH and i decided that's where we are going to adopt from now on.

I have adopted from NSAL twice and had good experiences both times.
... However... I have never heard of Little Shelter so I can't compare. Good luck!!!

Little Shelter!!!! Absolutely!
I have had nothing but nightmare issues with NSAL, as well as friends who have adopted from there. They have no problem to adopt out sick animals and send you home with medication. It is terrible, they just want to get the animal out of the shelter, not wait until it's well.

absolutely go to little shelter!! little shelter will take ALL dogs, not just dogs they THINK will be adopted out (NSAL tends to have more puppies than anything. all of the puppies are also adopted out sick! i've experienced it first hand) Little Shelter has had dogs for years that aren't adoptable but they still take care of them and love them. I'm trying to get a bunch of stuff together to donate to them soon! they have some great dogs too!
