IUI today - but a little discouraged
I triggered on Wed night and IUI is this morning, roughly 36 hours later. I take my BBT, and this morning I saw a rise, probably indicating that I've ovulated already (yesterday). Does this mean the IUI is too late?? We did BD on Wed night so I guess there is still a chance, but I thought that once you saw the temp rise then it's too late. What do you think?

I would let the RE know and ask them to do a sono at the IUI today. Remember, the sperm will be closer to the egg so, if you did ovulate already, you still have a shot. And if you did O already and it doesn't work, you'll know for next time that you'll need to do the IUI sooner. Plus you said you BD's Wed night, so I think you should be ok!

Sounds like you got it in time. The BD should have helped also. GL! Looks like we will be in the 2ww together - just had my IUI today!

I had the same situation last month and I didn't get PG. I think I ovulated earlier than the Dr. thought I would. He suggested doing back to back IUI's but I couldn't go in on that Thurs, only Fri. Which he said would still be ok if the egg dropped then the swimmers would just meet up and implant. I thought I heard 24 hrs or so. But, I would bring it up to him especially since you are charting and everything. Good thing you BD'd!

I asked the nurse and she said that they don't recommend temping because the HCG shot can affect my temp and make it inaccurate. Has anyone heard this? If this doesn't work then maybe I'll suggest going in earlier next time.

im temped for a few months and while im not an expert in it i know U have to have 3 consecutive days of high temps above teh baseline to indicate you O'd. If u got 1 day it doesnt really mean anything...
Also if u bd on wednesday and O'd yesterday and got ur IUI today u have all ur bases covered!!! U should be ok.. the egg lives about 12-24 hrs after its released and swimmes live about 3 days
