How long does Meat in the fridge last?
I bought 6 filet mignons sunday afternoon for some friends for dinner, i have 2 left and wrapped it and put it in the fridge.
How long will they last in the fridge.
I bought them from an italian store and they were sealed in this plastic stuff and they open it and cut away all the fat and make nice steaks, so not sure if that is different then buying it at a supermarket prepackaged.

Is their a sell date or was it wrapped specifically when youbought it? I'd cook it tonight. If you can't, freeze it. meat is usually good as long as it retains its bright red color. once it starts to brown, its not as good anymore.

I agree with the PP - either cook them tonight or freeze them...
What italian store do you go to? A & S on Broadway?
