3 cats in the backyard
I psoted about this a while ago but my mom is still needing some help. A mother had 3 kittens in my parents backyard about 4 months ago. My mom has called a ton of places and nobody will come get them. All of the places tell her to trap them and then bring them to a shelter. She really dosent want them put down, but is afraid that if she brings them to a shelter they wont keep them alive very long. I know there are no kill shelters but Im not sure how to go about getting the cats there. Do I have to trap them and bring them in? If they are feral will they put them down even though they are no kill shelters? Can anyone help us out? We don't want them to start breeding in the backyard and end up with 25 cats back there. Not to mention that it's starting to get cool outside.

Re: 3 cats in the backyard
Did you try contacting "All About Spay/Neuter"? The woman who runs it is Joanne and she helped us trap and find homes for our feral kittens. Her email is [email protected]. The older the kittens get the more feral they become and then they won't be adoptable. If you bring unadoptable ferals to a shelter they most likely will be put down.

Re: 3 cats in the backyard
She can atleast get them spayed/neutered and then release them again, atleast then they wont get put down and they wont be able to multiply even more. there are some place that do it very cheap.
