Chincoteague Island Pony Swim
Has anyone ever gone to this before or is familiar with Chincoteague Island? We're looking to go to the pony swim next summer and have no clue where we should stay. Don't want to end up at any fleabag hotels. Can anyone recommend somewhere?
TIA

Re: Chincoteague Island Pony Swim
DH and I didn't go to see the ponies swim, but did go for the weekend a few years ago for his bday. We really enjoyed it and did see the ponies in the wild
I don't remember the name of the place we stayed -- but I'll check and see if I have it written down at home in our travel folder (and see if DH remembers). It was a B and B. And, we really likedi t. Beautiful old house with a nice garden courtyard with tables, excellent food, and the rooms were really nice (with private BR).
I seem to recall there being more B and B's than major hotel chaiins...
Have fun!
