Mental Support

Does anyone know if their are any mental health specialists who deal with infertility... i have a family member who is infertile (has been since birth) and he is having issues mentally as a result (afraid noone will ever want to marry him etc..)

I know there are people who specialize in this, but don't specifically know of anyone. Perhaps you can call an RE's office and ask them if they know of anyone. I would ask for you, but I don't see my RE anymore. Good luck!

my ob is also high risk... do you think he might know someone?? I feel bad for him because he has always had a problem (from birth) and his ex-girlfriend really is making it an issue for why they broke up...

His ex-girlfriend is a terrible person. If that is truly a reason for the break-up, he is waaaay better off without her.

When DH and I started seeing an RE we both wondered "whose fault it was" and we had the conversation many, many times that it didn't matter. We would have worked this out, somehow, together because we love each other enough to do so.

There are plenty of alternative ways to become a parent. My family has been blessed by adoption and any woman worthy of him will know that.
