Pet Sitter

Does anyone know of someone who pet-sits in their own home? We have a small dog that we would love to find a pet sitter for when we go on vacation. She is a really good dog but we've never left her with anyone but family and now that is getting hard to do every time we go away. If anyone can recommend someone I would be grateful. We live in Suffolk but will take her anywhere for the right person.

my SIL sits, she is actually a Vet Tech in South Setauket but lives in Seaford, Nassau. Might be too far.

They have a border collie and 2 cats (who are almost invisible)

I just used Rebecca Beal at Bed Bathe and Behave in Lindenhurst. We left my dog overnight there while we had a BBQ (a bunch of litte kids and my dog's rambunctious) and she LOVED it! There were a ton of other dogs there, and she keeps the big dogs separated from the small ones. I think her website is bedbathandbehave.com (or something like that). GL!
