what does raw chopmeat smell like?
i really am not sure...and im cooking with it and it smells funky. I defrosted it 2 days ago and kept it in the fridge. It is still pimnk, just smells wierd.

Throw it out. If it smells weird, I wouldn't eat it.
Raw chopmeat really just smells like...well...raw chopmeat.
But if you had it out for 2 days, it may have gone rancid.
When in doubt, throw it out.

If it smells odd it probably went bad or is starting to go bad.
Raw chop meat isn't supposed to have a bad or funky smell.

It smells Beefy. Really.
You can SMELL when it is rancid. There is absolutely no doubt in your mind when you smell rancid meat.
If you aren't sure then it probably isn't BAD.. but it might be on it's way. I'd just take a nibble and see if it's right. But.. I'm a freak.
