Is it okay to do this
So I hate my arms. but not my biceps or shoulders. JUST my triceps. I have that jiggle and they are bigger than I would like. But mainly the jiggle gets me. My biceps are great. I have always been balanced in my workouts so I don't know why my biceps are good but my triceps suck.
Is it okay to just do tricep dips every other day and no other arm exercise? Or does it have to be balanced for opposing muscle groups? I really don't want my biceps any bigger.

Re: Is it okay to do this
I'm in a similar spot. Biceps just have less fat on them than my triceps.
For me, I couldn't spot reduce. I didn't see any definition in the triceps until I lost a considerable amount of overall bodyfat. About 15 lbs.
After that, the arm workouts from the 30 day shred were what really helped me see some definition. Not huge bulging muscles, if that's what you're worried about.
Good luck!

I have the same problem, decent biceps but really bad bat wings. I agree that losing weight would help get rid of the fat first & then toning for definition. That's all I can think of that might work.

I think its a woman thing, but not something that we can't try and reduce... I have the same problem, but when my arms were tighter, this is what I did (I plan on being more vigilant about this now that I'm going to be instructing again...)
Do your regular upper body as you were doing, but double up on specific tricep exercises, and add exercises that work more than one muscle group. You don't want to neglect the biceps because you need to work opposing muscle groups, but you can do more of the group you want to target.
Tricep dips, kick backs work the triceps specifically. Also that machine at the gym that does tricep presses where you push down.
This is a great move but hard as hell:
Get into push up position, but instead of your hands being beneath your shoulders, put your hands together, making a diampnd with your fingers (don't press them together - you will hurt them - have some space between the fingers) and the do your push ups that way - killer tricep move!
