In a few weeks my husband and I are getting a puppy (bulldog). We are very excited, we wanted a bulldog since we were dating.
Can anyone give me any good tips about having a puppy...especially the first few days. He will be about 8 weeks when he gets here. I'm a teacher so I will be going back to work Sept. 8th. The latest I will be home is 4:00. Where should we leave him while we are at work? I know we shouldn't leave him in the crate for that long because he will have to go to the bathroom. Should we buy a pen and put a wee wee pad in it and some toys and his food and water?

Anything you can tell me would be great and appreciated! Thank you!
