Pregnancy & Caribbean Travel?
Hey ladies. DH and I were planning on a winter vaca to the Caribbean end of this year but I recently found out I'm PG (yay!) and will be about 6 mths when we are planning to travel. I still have to ask my OB but I'm just asking for your opinion and advice. Did anyone her travel out of the country? Do I need to worry about the drinking water?

my OB did not recommend it. we were planning a similar trip. he recommended the US, canada and western Europe only due to water conditions and even more important, access to good medical care should you need it. by 6 months you have a baby that can survive outside the womb and God forbid something happened, I would not be comfortable being somewhere where i would not have access to good care.

I went to the Bahamas when I was 24 weeks pregnant. It was our 1 year anniversary. I was having a great & easy pregnancy up until that point. no issues at all. So I was comfortable with going & so was my OB.
