I thought all Coach bags had the leather piece inside with a serial number on it.

I bought a cross body bag from the Coach outlet today so I know it's real but it doesn't have a serial number inside. Actually it doesn't say Coach on it anywhere except the leather tag. If I didn't buy it myself from the Coach outlet I would think it was fake Chat Icon

Anybody know why some Coach bags don't have a serial number?
