Light Counters
If you have a light counter in your kitchen can you post a pic? And post what type of material it is?
At first we were thinking we would want to do black granite with white cabinetry but now that we've been in the house we want to do a lighter counter......I was thinking maybe something along the lines of giallo ornamental granite - but I want to look at other materials too! Maybe we can cut some costs!
Thanks!

Re: Light Counters
I have talked to a few people at work to see what they have and they all said they regretted darker granite because they find it hard to tell if it is clean. I am not sure how true that is because if you wash down after use I can't see how you do not know if it is clean or not LOL
I am really interested in cement counters over granite and i plan on researching soapstone. We probably have another five years until we save enough to do the kitchen even with us doing all work.
