I'm Disney hell & I"m not even there yet.
I'm trying to figure out the most economical (yet, decent options) on hotel/food/tickets.
We're going to Disney for probably 3 days. We want to stay on the premises.
These ticket options are driving me crazy. My guess is we'd do the Magic Kingdom for 2 days & probably a waterpark. If I buy a Magic Your Way ticket & go to the Magic Kingdom but want to eat in Epcot, I have to pay admisison to Epcot? If I go to the water park during the day & want to head to see the fireworks or eat in the Magic Kingdom, I can't do it without purchasing a park hopper option?
When you stay at Disney, do you go off site often?
I haven't been there since I crashed in a friend's hotel in college during a marathon. I have my old parker hopper ticket which has to be over 15 years old & in my maiden name. WHen I bought it, it had no expiration date. Can I still use it?

You will need to add on the park hopper option in order to use your ticket to go to two different parks on one day. FYI - you can't buy a four day ticket to use as admission for 4 different parks in a three day period.

The water park & fun option is an additional add-on which is unrelated to park hopping. Therefore with a regular park ticket, you can go to the Magic Kingdom and the Water Park on the same day. Just double check the price of the add-on vs the price of just buying a ticket to the water park to see which is the better value. The water park option also includes admission to Disney Quest (an interactive super-arcade in downtown disney) and I think a 9 hole round of golf.

I haven't been in a while, but did go off property the last couple of times for variety but for 3 days you should probably be fine.

Yep.

It's annoying because you are only going for 3 days, but I think the park hopper is the best bet.
If you go to MK, but want to eat at Epcot then go back to MK, you need to buy a tcket for Epcot.

Of course, your old pass is only good if you have unused tickets on it
