Well, wish us luck .....Update 8/10 !
For the first time in almost 3 years, my SD is coming to our house  ...We are having a summer party ( my DH's b-day is also the following day) ....She hasnt seen any of DH's family or mine and our friends in that long as well so this will be a reunion of sorts for her...She has cousins that she has never even met yet that will be there  ...She told DH that she's happy that she can come...Its so nice now that she's a little older for DH to be able to go through her instead of BM for some of these things !!!!!
Please wish us luck that all goes off without a hitch with BM during pick-up ( my brother is taking a ride there with DH)
 
Update- 8/10
Everything went perfect ...It was great to have her and all her cousins together, everyone couldn't believe how much she grew ! The only minor issue we had was that after all the good-byes etc...we were 16 minutes late getting her home, and when she called her BM to let her knowshe was going to be a few minutes late , it semmed like the BM was giving her a hard time...They were going to a Ducks game that started at 7 ( it was 5pm....whatever !!!!) So all in all, it went awesome !
I pulled her to the side and told her how happy we were and she said she was really glad she came 
She eve called DH the following day to wish him a Happy Birthday so things are really looking up ! Heres a few pics

yes, I does get a little easier when they get older and you don't really need to talk to BM about the visits.
I am sure you will all have a wonderful time.

She looks just like him by the way.
She really does! ( thank goodness )
And she and our DS actually look very similar as well !
It was a great gift...So happy that things are turning around for us, so much lost time that needs to be made up for...One step at a time

I hope you don't mind that I am totally crashing here... I just want to say your SD looks totally comfortable in that pic! It definitely doesn't look like she hasn't been to your house in 3 years or was being reunited with people. She just looks totally natural and comfortable in those pics Very beautiful family!  I'm so glad it went well for you!

It is even strange to us that we were able to pick up where we left off with her and are so happy that the damage that her BM caused doesn't seem to have been permanent which was our biggest fear throughout the past 3 years...I guess that there is a big difference between an 8 year old and an 11 year old and they way they interpet situations for themselves...Hoping that we continue on this path without interference and so far its looking like it is going to happen
