Realtors with lower commissions?
Are there any realtros out there today that are not charging 6 %??? I live in Eastern Long Island, house is for sale by owner but not having much luck....met with two both wanted 6%....am hoping maybe of finding someone for less to list with?

tell them you are not paying any more than 4%. anymore than that is ridiculous.
mostly the $$ goes to the realty itself.
Exit realty is whom i used. see if you can find them. my realtor sold my house in one day / weekend.

we interviewed 4 houses...3 were an automatic 4% - didn't have to negotiate.
one was 4.5-6% depending onthe type of service we wanted.
