Why don't think I am doing enough with my son????
My son just turned one month today and I feel that I am not stimulating him enough. Please tell me that I am crazy and that all he should be doing now is sleeping and eating--right!

you not crazy and I felt the same way as you..
in fact I sometime still feel that way and my son is 4 months
its difficult until they can start holding their head up on their own..I mean the gym mat is stimulating and just talking to them is great...also I find baby einstein DVD's to work wonders..he likes Baby Beethoven

Yes - all they should really we doing is sleeping and eating. Julia is now starting to hold her attention to certain objects and have eye contact - she is also starting to grab - but only when she wants too = she will be 7 weeks tomorrow.
I try and hang out and talk to her after her feedings, show her objects (anything, remote, phone etc...) and i make this my playtime with her. She really isn't into the Einstein videos yet - and if she is - she only hangs out and watchs for about 5-10 minutes before she starts figeting.....
Im sure it will all change soon.

I felt that way too, but all they do is sleep and eat basically.
