I love my hometown, so much so that we just purchased a home here. The schools are good, great community, town/village, good people all around. Plenty of activities setup for you during the summer into fall.

The only area that "isn't good" is more in North Lindenhurst it is still good just not as good as the village area.

Seems like north of sunrise is kinda ghetto. and the further south of sunrise the better. IMO
IDK about the schools they are supposedly decent.

The area north of Sunrise, but right off of rt. 109 (between 109 & Straight Path) is pretty good as well...a lot of people actually think that it's W. Babylon & don't realize that it's there. The homes in that area are mostly modest ranches & splits, but it's a cute, well-maintained neighborhood.

We love the area. North Lindy isn't as nice as the village. We are in the village. The schools are pretty good. I'm neighbors that have children seem to like the schools.
