Powder Eyeliner?
Is there such a thing? I got my makeup done the other day and the lady used a powder with a brush to create a soft cat eye. I am pretty good at doing my own makeup, so I want to try that at home. What could she have been using? Ge,l liquid and pencil liners have a darker, shiny look to them...I want something softer...

Re: Powder Eyeliner?
I just bought black eyeshadow from sephora (after a sales girl's rec) and an angled eyeliner brush and I use it all the time.
You can really use any dark shadow. You just need a good brush.

Which brush did you get? I need all new brushes...

Re: Powder Eyeliner?
I do the same thing. I'll even wet the brush before dipping it in the shadow for a darker application.
The brushes for this are very stiff. There is an angled one and also a square one.

I use eyeshadow to do this sometimes. My favorite is a dark blue - Dahlia from Stila.

Re: Powder Eyeliner?
It's all about the brush. I use a stiff angled eye liner brush. Both Sephora and Ulta carry them. Before applying, I'll dip and shake the brush with some water. I'm curious to try this cream eye liner from Urban Decay. You'll probably get the same effect. It's called ink for eyes. From their website: It’s everything you want in a cream eyeliner! More precise than a pencil, more forgiving than a liquid, this super-smooth formula offers more control, play time, and buildable coverage than your average liner. Create razor-sharp lines or smoky bedroom eyes… the creamy formula and double-ended applicator make it easy. Try the angled liner brush for precise details, or use the smudger for blending and drama.
