spoke with Dr. B. - we have a plan!!!
So all of my initial bloodwork FINALLY came back and my NK cells are elevated. He wants me to go for a round of intralipids during my next IVF cycle, which may start this weekend!!!!!(provided AF shows up on time)
I was just wondering if anyone has a ny experience with the intralipids, if you don't mind sharing it. TIA

I will have to do intralipids too, but after discussing with Dr B we decided I could wait until I am actually pregnant. Its pretty costly and with me being a sahm we just don't have an endless amt of available funds. I am also taking prednisone for the NK cells. Good luck feel free to fm any questions.

I had to have this done. It's not bad at all, actually, it was the easiest part! (minus the cost- my insurance declined to cover this!)

I'm on the same boat and still don't know what to do, so scared of spending all of this money before getting pregnant

My insurance declined it also, but I'm going to appeal it. It should come out of the infertility pool of money. They'll pay $6000 for meds, but not $500 for intralipids?? pfft!
Anyway, it was a breeze. The nurse came to my house. She was super nice. I was so afraid that we'd sit there staring at each other for 3 hours, but she was a talker! Plus, once she sets it all up, she spends over an hour filling out paper work with you. They delivered the meds the night before and you have to store them in the fridge. If I'm pregnant, then I have to have another one a month after the last one.
