Stops on I-95 to Florida?
DH and I will be driving down to Disney soon. This will be our first time driving down there. Any recommendations for places to stop along the way to stretch our legs or grab a bite to eat? Even if you have a favorite rest stop, any info would be great. We will be staying with family in NC midway.

I think you should find a Chik-Fil-A. It is fast food but yummo!

you need to go to South of the Border - just for the experience. It's awful and cheesey, but everyone should go at least once.
It's just south of the NC/SC border - there will be plenty of signs to tell you where.
Cracker Barrel is great!

Re: Stops on I-95 to Florida?
we only stop once when we drive b/c we like to get there fast last time we timed it so that we could have an early lunch in south carolina - we drove with our pooch so in the afternoon we stopped at the first rest area in SC and had a picnic - we packed a cooler before we left with drinks/sandwiches/chips....then when we had lunch at the rest area - they had a bunch of picnic tables - it was nice for the 3 of us to get out of the car for a bit....they have rest areas like this at the beginning of each state.....
i dont think south of the border is worth stopping for - but it's really the only other thing i can think of besides the rest stops.....
cracker barrel is good too...
other than that its gas stations and fast food

For those that said Cracker Barrel-Are the ones in the south better than the ones up here? We went to the one in NJ picking up SIL from college a few years ago and didn't like it at all. Friends of ours said we have to do breakfast there and the ones in the south are much better.

I've been to the one in Lancaster and the one in Florence, SC along the way to FL and they were both good. They weren't anything to die for but they were very good.. I have had both Breakfast and Dinner there, both equally enjoyable!

not any particular eateries but Savannah is a graet place down by River Street and Myrtle Beach, SC has loads of seafood places. If you have time to make a detor into Williamsburg, VA that is really nice as well
btw- for fast food I enjoy Arby's since I never see any out here in Suffolk
