Had my laproscopy yesterday
it was a long day. I thought it was going to be a piece of cake, but it took a bit longer. I feel better today, my stomach is a bit sore. i am happy I did it. The doctor did find some endemetrios. I am not exactly sure how much or what he did, b/c I have not spoken to him yet. he spoke to DH after the surgery but my Dh did not get everything he was saying. I called this am, so hopefully I will get a call tonight or tomorrow. Has anybody had a laproscopy done where they cleaned it out and have any success stories?

I had a lap in 2001. I was not trying to get pg at the time, I didn't even know dh yet. I had endo on my uterus and bowels. I got pg after trying for 8 mo in 2006. #2 now thats a different story...

I was wondering where u've been!
At least it's over! I just found out that my SIL got PG w/ my niece the month after she had that procedure----they had been trying to 3.5 years!

rest up and now hopefully things will go smoothly,
your dh sounds like my dh, the drs tell him something and he remembers half and gets the other half confused,
i did have this done but am not yet pregnant,
although i have heard that right after the laproscopy is a high chance of getting pregnant

I've had a Lap done, removed what they could of Stage IV Endo (Severe) and then proceeded to tell me that I could/would never get PG again. I was devastated. We were't going to TTC right after that, but my DH said we could because of the circumstances and how upset I was. 2 weeks after the surgery I got PG with my 2nd son! I was pregnant 6 months after I had mine done and DH and I weren't even trying. My Dr. at the time said that she had multiple people conceive when they weren't trying or having difficulty to after they've had the surgery done.
So hopefully you'll have the same luck!! Glad to hear that everything went well though!!
