we were cleared on a thursday- we were getting married that weekend, otherwise we would have closed that friday- instead we had to wait till tuesday since monday was a holiday

i am a seller and the buyers were clear about 2 weeks ago, however, they are waiting for LIHP, so we will be waiting four weeks. but ours is an extreme casel

Um, ours was about 3 -4 months....but the garage burnt down so that kind of delayed things.  We were set to close I think 2 weeks after initially.

Ours took a while but it was because the seller was a big problem (fired his lawyer the night before our scheduled closing). He also wouldn't return phone calls so scheduling was near impossible.

Thanks for the info. It's actually for my friend. I closed with in a week. Glad that is over =).
