I am DONE

I cant take it anymore,. I am short about 5'2 and you would not look at me and say i am overweight but to me compared to what I was just last summer 3 months after having my son I am. I am about 8-10 lbs heavier than I was when I got married 5 years ago. I feel gross and I cant stop eating. I joined ww online thinking i paid the money ill stick to it.. yeah not working so much. Then the only diet i have had real success onis the low carb/atkins but its hard to keep up with and the products are $$$.

Its annoying bc people will say oh you are so thin oh you really watch that's great and in reality i coudl probaly eat more than my dh at dinner time. Back in my hs and college dasy when i just ate what i wanted and was about 20lbs heavier well more like 15 at my currentwight) I ate like there was no tomrrow. Bagels for breakfast, fast food, pizza etc etc...

Last night was the final straw. I bought a bathing suit cover up and tried it on and i said OMG look at this belly. My dh says well you are getting your AF soon right(? you know how youa re blaoted right bfore gettign your AF) i said NO I am not. He said OH and was really emabarrassed. My dh is extreemly overweigt and therefore never says anythign to me about my weight but I could tell that he agreeed my stimach is MUCH bigger than it was. i honestly feel like I look pregant.

I am sorry for all this rambling. i dont know what i am looking for really. Advice? Your own experiences? i dont know but I am miserable.

just take it one day at a time. watch your portions. eats lots of fruits and veggies and drink plenty of water

I'm 5'2" also, and it sux because even 5 lbs makes you feel so much heavier. I totally feel your pain. What I've been doing is the couch to 5k program (there is a thread on here) and I've been keeping a spreadsheet of all my calories. I have columns for breakfast, lunch (I make at home and bring to work), dinner, snacks, and dessert. I start totaling the calories right away so I know how much I've eaten as I add my meals in to the sheet. I try to stay around 1400 to 1500 calories a day. I was doing 1200 before but I think that was too little. Now with 1400 I'm actually losing weight. When you have to keep track of your calories, it really makes you aware of what you are eating. It forces you to plan your meals, which is the best way to eat. Unplanned eating just leads to overeating. Good luck!

I am 5'2 also and having the HARDEST time losing the last 5lbs of the baby weight. 5lbs is really a whole clothing size at our height.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time. I just try and going running 5x a week and try and limit my portions. Its coming off VERY slowly but I am frustrated because it was so much easier to lose the baby weight after DS then after DD. I got you guys beat in the height department - I am 4'11"Chat Icon It is so hard fo rme to lose weight. I can barely lose 2 lbs in 2 months. I get frustrated and want to give up but I am going to give it my all. Sometimes I feel liek I will be 144 forever and there is no way I can lose it.Chat Icon

I feel you girl. I am 5'3 and pretty happy with my body (for the most part)....however even if I gain like 3 pounds i get a gut. Now some people may not have a problem with it but I do. I hate it and my weight is always up and down up and down (by a few pounds).

I am running more than ever and training for a marathon and so so so hungry and have gained these few pounds and am so mad. It always goes right to the gut. I eat healthy too, with a cheat here and there.

Ok so enough rambling, the best thing is to shock your body. Try a totally different diet. Switch up workouts. Easier said than done but it works. Drink tons of water. Dont eat after 6/7pm at night. Cut out sugar if you can, including fruit (for a few weeks).
