OMG a dog is yelping
outside....
i think it is lost...
it ran by before yelping and before i could get outside it was gone....or stopped...
but now, a half hour later.....the dog came back..
it is breaking my heart...
not sure if it is hurt or just lost
THE SOUND....MAKE IT STOP

I can't stand that!!! We had that happen one night. We let him stay on the porch, I put a blanket on the porch with some food and water. We called Brookhaven the next morning and from what I understand they found the owners. He lived a couple of blocks away, but had no tags expect for a Rabies or Vacine tag.

Is it a big dog or a little dog?
Maybe call animal control? I mean thats mean , but you dont want it to get hit by a car or anything?
maybe put some dog food by your front door and then see if it comes there? See if it has a tag on it?

on the small size IMO..
i just am tooo scared to call animal control or anyone
but it isn't coming down our way...at least not yet

maybe she/he will smell the food?
I would be afraid to call animal control too. But I know my BIL and SIL's dog gets out all the time, and they always call the pound the minute hes missing and sure enough hes usually there...But still I hear ya on that.

no...i heard it one more time and that was it...
I am thinking she/he was found or got back home..
Or i think she/he would have been yelping more...
It was like she/he was circleing the area.
I left food out last night, which is REALLY disgusting and untouched this morning...
