Caesar's Place - Las Vegas

Thinking about joining some girlfriends in Vegas at the end of August. Friends are planning to stay at Caesar's Palace b/c of a deal....DH says Caesar's Palace is one of the worst and that it's mainly for boxing events....my friend said he is totally wrong and it's one of the best hotels.

If you've been to Caesar's Palace, can you give me some feedback? TIA!

I haven't been there personally, but some of my staff went there for a conference and those who stayed at Caesar's thought it was horrible. They were horrible to work with also, but that is another issue.

Re: Caesar's Place - Las Vegas

went there in april. while it was a pretty hotel and the rooms were nice - it was not a big difference between that and the bellagio. looking back, i would have def went w/ the bellagio or the wynn over caesar's. especially because the prices were about the same, when it was all said and done. the service was pretty bad - overall - and we felt like just a 'number' and totally lost in the shuffle. the pools were under construction and there was only one open with no seating -- so, everyone was laying on the cement on top of their towels. i was so disappointed and we really couldn't lay by the pool like we wanted to. when we ordered room service we waited over an hour - finally, we called asking about it and they said it would be there in five minutes. then, THIRTY minutes later, it still wasn't there. we just said forget it and went to breakfast downstairs.

the bellagio, however, was breathtaking and the service was fantastic. i mean, i didn't need a lot of help - just had a few questions about where to eat and what's good to do. they were so helpful and friendly. at caesar's i got mostly an attitude and short answers with little/no information. if we ever went back i would stay at the bellagio or wynn. both were similar and beautiful... quality.

Re: Caesar's Place - Las Vegas

I haven't stayed there but that's because I hate the way everything is laid out.
Even when they're running a deal I still stay somewhere else.

They've totally renovated it and they've expanded it. It's huge. It wouldn't be my first pick, but I would definitely stay there. They have great shops, the club, Pure is there and is comparable to many other hotels there.

Just got back from Vegas 3 days ago, boy how I wish I could go back! We stayed at the Venetian...it was absolutely stunning and the service was great! We thought Caesar's was too big and heard mixed reviews too. I'd look into Venetian..they had great deals going when we booked!

Alicia...

Caesars is a nice hotel. BIG, but really nice. IMO, you cant go wrong. Very comparable to alot of the upscale hotels on the strip. Yes, there are newer & nicer hotels to stay at but if your getting a good deal, I would jump on it & stay there.

The best thing about Caesers is that its in a perfect location - You cant go wrong with it. Also, they have one of the best clubs (Pure) located in the hotel. The Forum Shoppes as well as tons & tons of restaurants- AND a nice pool.

I cant say anything about the service or the rooms since I personally have never stayed there, but if your looking for a fun weekend with the girls at a nice hotel in Vegas, you are covered.

Oh and about your DH's comment.... I completely disagree. I can give you names of hotels 10x WORSE than Ceasers. I've been to Vegas many many times, and I can assure you, Ceasers is no way one of the worst hotels on the strip.
