I didn't need a study to tell me this.
My cats rule the house. They pay the mortgage and taxes. When I'm at work they order stuff online and talk on the phone with their kitty friends.
They eat, sleep, poop and generally look cute and cuddly. They give affection when they are ready and as soon as they have had enough they're done.
Bella jumps on my chest every morning at 5:30am and stares me down. Izzy is on the floor next to the bed meowing his usual whiny feed me meow. They circle my feet almost tripping me as I go down the stairs.
God forbid I try to change their food bowls.
Yep, they rule....EVERYTHING. It's all about the cat.
