Re: Oil Payment

its sort of like gas for your car. the price is per gallon, and you either do a contract with a company where you lock into a price, and they come at certain times, or you can call when you need it and get it at the current rate.

A lot of homes on LI have gas though, so until you find a house you like I wouldn't worry to much about this.

As for how much you will need and its cost? it depends on the current price, your usage, the size of your house, and what its used for. Its really hard to tell.

She pretty much summed it all up. We have oil. We have a contract with Petro and are locked in. They come approximately 1x per month or maybe every 6 weeks.

Re: Oil Payment

You use it in summer, but only to heat your water - because you don't heat your house in the summer. Chat Icon
