Thighs

Is there a miracle workout that I am not doing.

I have slimmed down a little bit everywhere except here.

Will continuing to do cardio everyday eventually make them slim down?

If you have any tips please share!!

I have been told all the time and I feel its true,

I have big thighs, dieted, worked out and no matter what, they stayed big.
Of course as I got heavier, they got larger.

Genetics gave me these thighs and I was told by everyone, I wont loose them but that I was only able to tone them through cardio and weight training.

they only way I can get mine smaller is by NOT working out

the minute I do one excerise- they aren't going anywhere

Chat Icon How come it isn't Suzanne??

I am such a fatty bc even though I titled the thread I saw the word thighs and thought of chicken with bbq sauce. I have reached a new lifetime low.

I LOVE this advice!!

I think mine would only appear smaller compared to my larger stomach, chins and arms.

yes cardio!

Are you doing any thigh machines- sometimes if you put too much weight on the machine it bulks you up- try cutting down the weight to no more than 50-60 pounds if you are doing this

For me, I definitely notice results with cardio, but at this point, they are not getting any smaller. They are muscular and the only way they are going to decrease is as Beth said by stopping exercising, but this will only have negative effects on the rest of the body, so I will just have to deal with it.

If your legs are genetically inclined to be larger you can tone them up but there is not much more you can do. I have the same problem with my upper arms. I asked a trainer if there was anything I could do to make them smaller he said I should yell at my parentsChat Icon

I have been taking pilates for the past 6 months both mat and reformer and love it. It has helped me to loose inches off my thighs, hips, and even my calves. I diet though as well but still have some work to go.

I tend to carry all my weight on the bottom half.

The windsor pilates are some good workout tapes too.

I deal with it too

but if I even run around the block - my muscles come back- that's what I get for 6 years of feild hockey

I can not lift weights with my legs- the only thing I will do is run- that gives them enough shape and muscle -
