Weather in WDW in December?
we just booked our trip to Disney and i wanted to know if anyone had been down there in December? i have no clue on what to pack and bring with us?

There were some days in which it was warm enough to use the pool, but, other days were a bit too chilly.
The weather was perfect though for walking around the parks. I wore shorts and capris and brought a sweatshirt with me.

we only go in December! its actually beautiful there!
during the day its nice and comfy. t-shirt weather. at night its sweatshirt weather, but very comfy!!
not really pool weather though.. but we dont go there for the pools. just the parks!
the best is because its not packed at all during that time!
we always go the 1st or 2nd week of december! right before prime season (christmas)

You're going to have to really keep an eye on the weather and play it by ear. We used to go every year for Xmas and it ranged from cool, but comfortable to downright cold. There were years when we wore our NY winter coats. Once in a while we would get really lucky and be able to go in the pool.

We went the 1st week in January in 2002 and the weather was iffy. It was definitely layer time. Mornings were in the 60's - afternoons were in the 70's and one day in the low 80s. We did get to swim the one day in the 80s and the pools are heated. Nights however were FREEZING. We had to buy gloves - b.c DH insisted we wouldn't need them - but nights were in the 40's and a few nights in the 30's so we were glad we brought our winter coats with us.
I would bring your coats and then bring a mix of clothes that are easy to layer - we wore tee shirts and sweatshirts with jeans during the day - some mornings we needed a lightweight jacket in addition to the above.

oh wow that sounds great we are loeaving from the 2 - 6....it's really not that crowded?

We have gone a few times the first week in December and it was great. The first night was chilly, but I was comfy in capris and a sweatshirt. The rest of the trip we pretty much wore shorts and t-shirts during the day and added a sweatshirt at night. I love going that time of year -- everything is decorated for Christmas, but you are in before the holiday rush. We hardly waited on any lines.

oh wow that sounds great we are loeaving from the 2 - 6....it's really not that crowded?
it really is the perfect time to go.. and for years in a row we would go that same week..
everytime the weather has been the same for us.. just sweatshirts at night. and yes, the crowds are much less!
if you plan on doing the very merry christmas party! (which i HIGHLY recomend) try and get those tickets now. they sell out.
just like some of the others said.. just make sure you watch the weather just incase. thats all !

I agree. We went one year the week before Christmas. It was in the upper 70's/low 80's most of the days.
