Moving on from Clomid to Lupron with Gonal-F
I've had 3 rounds of Clomid with IUI (Success on Round 2 but it was ectopic and I had my right tube removed). My Dr is recommending Lupron with Gonal-F as our next step.
Does anyone have any advice to offer. I feel like its a big decision to jump from Clomid to this and I want to make the right choice.

Just did third round of Gonal, 2nd that wasn't cancelled from overstimulation.
No hot flashes like with Clomid 
Didn't find the move to be a big deal after 2-3 nights. Just needs more monitoring, especially if you have PCOS

If this round doesn't work with 4 follies I'll move on to IVF

I know that the injectables will help u produce more follies. If it's not something you're ready for, maybe try a regular IUI cycle 1 more time? If you do go w/ the injectables, just be sure to check with your insurance company bc mine told me that I needed pre-approval for the medication for the IUI/ injectables.

I never did Clomid but I just finsihed my forst round of IVF with Gonal- F and I am now pregnant. The injection pen was really easy to use and the shot iteself didn't hurt at all. I also didn't notice any side effects at all. Wishing you tons of success!

We skipped right over Clomid and went straight to Gonal-F.
The injections are not bad at all - the needles are SUPER thin! And I had no side effects at all.
What are you using the Lupron for? Is it for suppression beforehand? I never used that for just IUI cycles but that did cause major hotflashes for me. It basically makes your body think simulate menopause.

Yeah, my Dr wants to use Lupron to basically stop my natural ovulation - I think that's the part I'm a bit confused about. I go next week for a Lupron/Gonal "training" to find out!!
