and all i have to say is:
1. great job sweeping our farm system - we should stop the season now and hand you the World Series title
2. great job achieving the first sweep on the Mets in 6 years. And with the highest payroll in MLB. I guess even a blind squirrel finds a nut once and a while.
3. Funny how you can beat a farm system, but yet can't seem to beat the Nationals (with a 16-46 record), the Phillies, or the Marlins - basically the NL East - the supposed worst division in MLB.
4. What's your record vs. Boston? The team we took 2-3 from.
Bottom line is - we both s u c k - and neither one is going anywhere.
i'm still here to dish it I don't care if we lose every game!

I'm so glad you were able to rationalize this to make yourself feel better! 
You may have some points...but we're allowed to enjoy a sweep now and again. I can take each and every valid point you make...but I will not go so far as to say we s u c k or that we're not going anywhere. I think we just had a lousy run for a couple weeks there (who can explain losing series to all those teams?!?! )...a bonafide slump.
Hey yeah, we beat your farm system. But we still swept the Mets and we're gonna enjoy it.
Now I'm off to more important things in a few hours... DH is hoping I have this baby before first pitch.

that's what I'm here for
our season is reaching the point of being over if Philly gets hot.
interested to see what the Yanks do with the homestand now.
Boston is showing no signs of slowing down. Could be interesting.
