Spin fanatics

Do you wear sneakers or spin shoes? I am thinking about getting them but don't know much about the brands

I love spinning. I miss it now that I don't get my free gym membership at the university over the summer I always used sneakers, but those straps around your feet sometimes get annoying after a while, especially if you strap them too tight. I don't know about the spinning shoes, but I would go for it! As long as you use them they aren't a waste.

I am "told" you get a better ride with the spin shoes and since I am taking it at least 4 times a week figured I'd look into it

I LOVE spin! I do 4 sometimes 5 times a week and Ive never bought spin shoes, always my sauconys the straps never bother me.

i have spin shoes. and i do think that yes, you get a better ride - smoother - bc you're connected to the bike. Shoes range in price vastly, anywhere from $75-$400+, and then the clips are an extra $25 (wherever you buy your shoes will sell you the clips and put them in for you.) My suggestion would be to go in and try on a bunch of different styles, keeping in mind what you want to spend. My shoes are from specialized, motodiva style. I paid about $180, including clips. I love them!
