So stupid...I forgot to cancel our hotel room
I booked a hotel room for saturday night for Dutch Wonderland but we decided not to go b/c of the weather and I forgot to cancel. They charged my credit card. What are the chances of them giving me a refund?

I may be a long-shot..but call your credit card company and explain what happened. Perhaps they can help you.
I know it is a different situation...but we booked a hotel based on pictures on the internet...and the non-refundable deposit was put on our VISA card. When we got there, the room was so bad...lots of flys...the door to the fire escape didn't open. We didn't spend any nights there. We called VISA and explained the situation. We got our deposit back.

Would you be able to go another weekend? Maybe they could apply it to a future stay. If you cant go another time maybe this will work....
If it is the Best Western Eden, we are going to Dutch Wonderland in July. I made a reservation for July 12-14. If they wont give you the money back maybe they could apply it to my room and then I can send you a check.

unfortunately when you do not cancel within the hotel's cancellation time period, they have the right to charge you. their policy should be indicated on your initial confirmation.
