Re: going to disney

I heard great things about Discovery Cove.

I was always curious about Celebration Town Center.

The Kennedy Space Center is not too far from Orlando.

I liked Old Town, just as a little something different...Kind of a bunch of shops, we took one of those vinatge photos there where you dress up in old time costumes etc....

We also went to this museum there called Wonderworks which was kind of cool ( I'll add the site at bottom) , nearby to that was the Pac Man restaurant- LOL

Also, Pleasure Island ( although Disney relalted, its more of a night life thing), same goes for City Walk at Universal Chat Icon

You can also go for an airboat ride, those are fun Chat Icon

FYI - Disney closed all the clubs on PLeasure Island last year. I think there's a new restaurant and there's a baloon ride, not sure what else though.

The Pleasure Island section has very little, but the Downtown Disney area is worth a trip. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from- we love Fulton's Crab House. Awesome seafood and very nice adult atmosphere. For more nightlife, the Universal City Walk probably has more to offer.

Re: going to disney

yep pleasure island closed. there's still the west side with a few restaurants and T-Rex opened up (think rainforest cafe meets dinosaurs! it's from the same company) you can do Old Town like the PP mentioned. Since you're in the area, you can go to Celebration and walk around the town. it's absolutely beautiful (go visit Wisteria Lane for sh!ts and giggles) a lot of good restaurants, there's a movie theater there and little shops. you can do wet n wild if you're into water parks. Everything else is kinda far but honestly, with disney and universal, you have plenty to do!

be sure to go to Jelly rolls one night on the disney boardwalk. It is such a fun piano bar and is a guaranteed great time!
