Also, when we walk past the candy store in Roosevelt Field, He screams.."I got the golden ticket!!!" I always put my head down in embarrassment.

if someone pises him off, he will mumble loudly to himself "diiiiick" or "azzhole" "thanks for nothing jackazz" and usually the other person hears it! so embarrassing
i tell him hes going to get us shot someday!
DH does this too....I always think we are going to get seriouslly hurt one day

He talks with his hands BIG TIME...makes BIG SWOOPING motions with his hands. Sometimes, he'll even stand up and use "walking motions" to demonstrate something.
Drives me nuts.
Oh my god, that's totally my DH too He also talks VERY loudly.

He puts Ketchup on EVERYTHING! My Mother will spend hours preparing a gourmet meal and it never fails, he gets up from the table to get the ketchup, before he even tastes it.

I'm usually the one that embarasses him  DH is very much a "don't rock the boat" type of person so anything that might be construed as embarassing is usually done within the confines of our home. Lucky me

When he's with me at home though he constantly fidgets. Non-stop. He always has to have something in his hand. I just realized last night how bad he is when I went to kiss him good-night and he was flicking a swiss army knife open and closed.
My SO does this too!!! He collects all sorts of knives and he'll flick them open and closed, or swing around his butterfly knife. It makes me and others a little uncomfortable. He's oblivious to it.
He also has been running his toung ring against his teeth too. Drives me nuts!!

DH explains things too much. Someone says something jokingly and he actually knows something from something he read and he feels it is necessary to share useless info that no one cares about. People think he is trying to be a smarty pants
Oh yeah, I get embarrassed sometimes when he mispronounces words. He came here from Poland when he was 13 and still hasn't mastered everything. He says things like I-ron (instead of pronouncing it like i-ern) and Oh-ven instead of saying it like uh-ven. I want to break him of these things, but don't know how.

Talks politics He REALLY gets into it....so much so that most people now will not bring ANYTHING up about politics in front of him...he could go on for HOURS

Oh, I love that one...going to have to try it. To get him back we were in 7-11 getting coffee and I paid, then proceeded to say as loud as I can "listen, you have one week to find a job, I'm not gonna keep supporting your lazy azz!". That shut him up for a good while
