I don't know where you live or what style you're interested in, but James' work is pretty traditional/New England/Hampton's Style. Like most architects, he'll come to the house to discuss what you're interested in and then mail you a free estimate/breakdown of the costs involved. He'll also send you a list of references with addresses so you can see his work.
