Re: Scott!!
Excellent 10 People showed up
So far 4 People are interested
If it doesn't sell we will have another one after Easter and Passover.
It was a Perfect Day. The weather was incredible too.
People were very impressed with the house - They all said the same thing. The house is ver deceiving from the outside. It is very large on the inside....but on the outside it looks small.
Thanks For Asking
Scott

And of course two agents showed up - One gave us a Pineapple - He was rather annoying....We don't want an agent, we finally got the house back from the agent that had it b4.
Oh and we got to the house, opened the windows and I sprayed the house with Febreeze Scott

LOL.... just tell the agents they can show it as an open listing if they want your business so bad. You don't have to sign anything. Make them work.
Then offer them 2% commission after their client makes a bid. If they aren't happy with that... tell them to go f themselves. They only get 2% anyways when there are two agents in a deal.
You never know... they may bring a client in that can offer quite a bit.

Re: Scott!!
When I lived in Newport, Rhode Island, you saw a lot of homes w/ pineapple plaques, etc. hung on the outside near the door or on the door. It has a symbolic meaning, like your welcomed into the home, or something....
Here is a snipit of something on found........
Pineapples and Colonial America----- Across the ocean, the pineapple took on other symbolic meanings in England's American colonies. The colonies were then a land of small, primitive towns and settlements where homes served as the hubs of most community activity. Visiting was the primary means of entertainment, cultural intercourse and news dissemination. The concept of hospitality--the warmth, charm and style with which guests were taken into the home--was a central element of the society's daily emotional life.
